2018 POVERTY SUMMIT
DISMANTLING STRUCTURAL RACISM:
Engaging Neighbors, Leaders, and Government
Thank you to our generous sponsors!
The Summit is always a keystone of APN’s year, gathering partners and members from around the state to learn and strategize together about solutions to end poverty. At this year’s Summit we are expecting approximately 250 participants representing direct service organizations, advocacy groups, faith communities, labor and government partners, academics, and individuals with lived experience of poverty.
We are looking forward to a day focused on understanding the systemic factors that perpetuate poverty and structural racism, and engaging diverse stakeholders in solutions that can grow opportunity in the Garden State. There will be skill-building and policy workshops led by experts throughout the day and a chance to network and develop or renew relationships.
