Join us for the 20th Anniversary Poverty Summit, where partners and APN members gather from around the state to learn and strategize about solutions to ameliorate and end poverty.

The day will focus on bold solutions to end poverty in the next 20 years, with workshops on:

  • Universal Basic Income
  • Housing
  • Community College for Economic Mobility
  • Hunger
  • Closing the Racial Wealth Gap
  • Criminal Justice Reform
  • Education
  • Tax fairness and low-income tax credits
  • Addiction Harm Reduction
  • Healthcare Public Option and Covering All Kids
  • Immigrants
  • Meeting the Needs of People with Disabilities

The Summit is always a keystone of APN’s year. At this year’s Summit we are expecting approximately 250 participants representing direct service organizations, advocacy groups, faith communities, labor and government partners, academics, and individuals with lived experience of poverty.

We are looking forward to a day focused on understanding the systemic factors that perpetuate poverty and structural racism, and engaging diverse stakeholders in solutions that can grow opportunity in the Garden State.
